PHENOMENA AND THE INTERPRETATION

縣 美千子　海老原 太　作品展

写真家の縣と作曲家の海老原が水を共通のテーマとしてそれぞれ作品制作に取り組みました。 縣は隅田川の流れを観察・撮影していく中でミクロとマクロの世界を垣間見、その体験を基に作品を制作しました。 一方、海老原は水面に映る影、そこから生じる歪み、刻々と変わりゆく光、そしてその時間の流れ、それらを構成要素として作品にまとめました。 ５月２１日（日）は海老原の音楽作品による演奏会を行います。 演奏はピアニスト岡野勇仁氏。

This exhibition consists of visual works by Michiko and musical works by Futoshi. Having a common subject which is a state of “water”, each of them experimented in her and his own manner. Michiko says that her experiences with observing the flow of Sumida River throughout the shooting were a discovery of a micro and a macrocosm, and she integrated them into her creation. For Futoshi, on the other hand, reflections on water surfaces, distorted figures and broken light made by waves, and a notion of time are the key elements in the structure of his compositions. His music pieces will be executed by Eugene Okano on the exhibition venue on Sunday, May 21st.
